Key Location

Ok new to the sight and cant seem to fnd this answer anywhere. ( I have tried searching)

Ok I have a new 2005 TRX400ex and have taken it out a few times and ended up bending the bars. Now after looking around the site I want to get some TAG or Renthals to put on it but have 1 question.

What does everyone do with the plastic dash board thing, or more to the point the ignition key? Where do you relocate it to etc.....

made my own diamond plate bracket for key and lights works great and looks great:blah:

get a hole saw the same size as your key, then use a file to make a little slot for the tigamajig on the key you can mount it any where you want to take into consideration where you knees are when your riding, in this pic its under the uni sticker

I just rewired my stock kill switch (the thumb switch) to become my on/off switch and tossed the ignition switch in the toolbox. I use a teather kill switch. Not like the key adds any security anyway.. lol.. you just unplug the wires and plug them back into each other to hotwire the damn things.. lol.

I just lock the sucker up and take the sparkplug wire with me when I want it secure. ;)

its not as easy to hot wire a 400ex as a 300 the wiresd just dont unplug from each other
