bent tierod...

can someone please explain how i change my tierod i no it seems simple but i dont wanna screw anything up....and yes i did a search but couldnt find anything...

push the boot up...put a wrench in there...put a socket on the bolt...and un screw

ok now how do i get the balljoints off the actual rod??

Actually if your just replacing the rod. Back off the retainer nuts.. and unscrew it. One end is left handed other is right.. so jsut spinning it will unscrew both ends at the same time.

I had to replace mine with chromoly ones a long time ago.. lol. Harescrambles will go through mild steel tierods like noones business.. lol.
