i was looking at gt thunder's website, and i saw he can revalve the stock rear shock for a very reasonable price. has anyone had this done? or any shock work done by gt thunder?

or any info about anybody else's revalving on the stock shock.

or if anyone knows anything about the race tech gold valve kits (in general...for any bike or quad). i saw they make one for the yfz shocks.

cause i've got some elka front shocks on the way, so i need to have something done to the rear too

I have the GT Thunder valving and linkage setup for my back shock and it works awesome. The best back shock I have ever rode on. It is for a 450r though.

Gt Thunder is a great company to work with. Great products and service, and very nice customer service. You wont be dissapointed.

we had de risi do our stock yfz rear shock and its as good as aftermarket from our findings. he also did our fronts and they are themselves great, but the back is just awesome.

gt thunder is another company that does a fine job on the shocks.

call around, ask some questions...they dont mind!

was yours just a revalve, or did you get new springs and stuff too?

and thanks there pappy. do you know if santo does just a revalve, or does he only do the full deal? cause i'm a little limited on da moneyz for a while.

I have the Derisi rebuild on my YFZ with the Houser Linkage and I really like it. My buddy has an Elka Rear and I can't tell the difference, but he is using the stock linkage.

Daryl Rath redid my friends YFZ450 rear into a Pep dual rate for XC, we rode it at the 6hr. race, it was a nice shock.
