Was there for the second time this past sunday(the 3rd), the place was packed for the early morning harescramble, nice to see alot of riders turn out to a smaller place that seems to do no promoting. They also expanded the mx track a bit, and possibly reworked the big(little) downhill double, I was finally landing it right.

For those of you Pa guys that havent been there or even heard of it check out the site www.slipperyrockdunes.com

for those of you who are regulars, hope to see you there

the mx track itself is not worth a 2 hour drive, but they offer other types of riding such as 4 miles of tight trails, and a huge "dune" area, not like cali dunes, it is just a flat sandy area. Honestly the mx track is for beginers, it is short, non-technical and quite frankly needs work (they dont do any grooming as far as I can tell), but it is only 30 minutes away from me, and good(by good i mean legal) riding areas around here are hard to come by.

check their website for some pics, I dont have any...

Hey red2004 TRX450R where abouts are you from? I know it used to be like that about 6 years ago around here (McKean-Edinboro area,Pa) and now unless you know someone with property to ride or even access some trails, or want to trailer . Let me know I have been looking to get some ride time close by-hopefully with out spending any money on memberships and less drive time = more fun time:D

switchback is north of Butler on Route 8 (Butler is about 40 miles north of Pittsburgh).

Its is a MX track with big jumps and a XC track with big hills :uhoh:

Nice to see some ppl from the SR/Butler area in here!

Ive ridden SR dunes n switchback

SR dunes is the worst MX track ever the downhill double is the only one worth hitting but the trails n hillclimbs are pretty fun

Im probly going to switchback next tuesday to ride their new MX track n maybe do the supercross track a little
