a first for me...

well i was coming back to my house about a half an hour ago and i was prolly doing around 55-60 through this open field. the grass was kinda tall maybe like a foot high and birds and stuff were flying out all over the place. well this one bird decided to play chicken with my head:p i dont know what happened to the little birdie but now i have a cracked helmet!

Well i was riding maybe 30-40mph and i see a bird fly out and hit somewhere underneath my quad. I lock up and look for it, but its just fly away. Only animal accident for me...

i chased a turkey in a feild once....

i ran over a baby turtle on accident with my g/f on the back and it got imprinted into the ground..my g/f cried even though it was alive and fine after I pulled it out

lol my gf was on the back one time and i ran over a squirrel (sp) she got mad at me for some reason... i swear they just jump out in front of you:blah:

funny thing. I was crusing doun some old rail road beds the other day and this bird flew out in front of me. I would have bet big money that I hit it. but I looked for left over birt on my bumper and there wasent any. thing must have gone under my quad or somthing.

few weeks agos i was rippin threw a field and a fly hit my glasses and splattered ALLLLL over them. first time thats ever happened to me and it kinda scared me to when it happened:o

ever been crusing doun a road or somthing and feel little misquitos hit your face. well around here that is all I get to feel while going anything over 35 or so. it is nasty

i hit a truck but i never hit an animal basically i was ridin wheelies in the feild across the street and i got it back to far and fell off and the throttle stuck so the bike took off and finnally set down but kept goin with no one on it. i chased after it ( no way i was goin to catch it in 2nd) well it went through someones back yard (me chasing be hind it) ramped over this persons sand box went through another yard onto some guys drive way and right into the back of his truck. his garage door was open it had made a really loud sound so i looked around to see if anyone was around. he never came out so i just got on my quad and took off. i really didnt do anything to his truck cause he had a trailer behind it and it mostly caught the trailer and just put a scuff on his back bumper. it bent my rim and scared to crap outta me. i just rode home and parked it. bought a teather kill switch a week later. i told the guy about it later and he just laughed he said he saw the mark on his bumper and it just rubbed off and he didnt really care to much about the trailer so it was all good in the end.

i hate it when your ridin through a field goin pretty fast and a big bee hits your ear or nose

now that is funny. makes me think putting my teather on is a good idear.

When I was riding down the road one time with a riding buddy a rabbit ran out in front of me and I ran it over going about 60. My buddy behind me almost hit it. It was pretty funny to see the bunny tumbelin into the ditch. (May sound mean but I think it lived)

i think it was a good idea, if that truck wasnt there my quad would drove right into there garage and possible gone through a wall into there house. or at least di@ked up there wall pretty bad

I was on a trail ride and I saw this bunny flying across the trail I was in third gear and it went in front of my left front wheel and out behind the front right wheel. It got lucky

I was coming up this gravel road the other night around 04:00. Came around a turn and on the edge of the road was a big ol brown horse. As I got to the horse it starts across the road at an angle, it was going to hit me behind left front wheel. Just before the horse and I hit I forearmed it in the right front shoulder and changed its direction so it didnt hit me. I had hope I had atleast knocked it down, but I didnt. But the SOBin horse popped my shoulder out and Im no small guy 6'3" tall 380#.

lmao, one day I was following my friend on a trail in the sand pits and I see him slam on the brakes, turn around and go full throttle for about 50 feet, then he stops and jumps off the quad and starts running into some brucsh, then I see a turkey about 10 feet in front of him. just last weekend me and my buddy where cruisin aorund my farm on the utes and chase a deer, get down to it and slam on breaks, the momma deer ran away but there was a fawn no more than 20 lbs sitting in the grass, had to be one of hte coolest things ive seen, me being a hunter, just stood up and started calling for its mama, so we left it alone and kept riding... another time i was chasing a deer on the ute had it wfo in 5th and the deer was coming from my right and it jumped about 10 ft to early and smashed a barb wire fence in the air, it was crazzzy funny...

I was ridin with like 5 people on this straight away, and the kid in front plowed over a chipmunk. Poor thing went through 5-6 quads...

Then this other friend mowed a squirrel down at my local pit... So we decided to see how far we could roost it... I won. :p

The last one was I was ridin at my friends house with 2 other kids, and I see this groudhog dart infront of my friends 400EX, He hit it with his back tire and it rolled for like 20 ft, got up and bolted into the woods... I dont think I ever laughed harder in my entire life.

I was at flying dutchmen racing a harescramble a few years back I was coming down a stright away and a bird flew out in front of me, I was kinda chasing it for a little then It gave up and I creamed it with my helmet lol :(

We were crusing down the sandy road in the meadowlands area when a bird flew out and it just smashed on my friends helmet. We stopped and there was just feathers all over the place and no sign of any bird. :D

Hey ya'll, I'm new to this site...This is my first post!:D

I was just readin and though I've never hit anything besides bugs. I did have a friend that was drivin his Tahoe in a small town with few street lights. He said he was goin about 35Mph. But a horse walked out in front of them and BANG! Airbags went off and he heard his GF screamin. He looked thinkin she was hurt, but she was covered in blood and a horse head on her lap!:eek: Straight outta Godfather!!! He's got pictures, I otta see if he'll email them to me!... pretty freaky though, truck was junk. ....By the way, sweet site!!

when i had my rm80 i was going wfo down the road and a bird hit my clutch lever and it went in and smashed my nukles (sp?). another time i was riding a trail and swerved to hit a bunny. I got him and then went into a mud hole, I was wfo in 1st but not going any ware. So i remberd the back of my helmet,so i reached up and felt around on my helmet and found my fox sticker, I ripped it off and slammed it on the fender and it gave me enough hp to get out

had a '04 yfz; sold it was planning on gettin the '06 yfz.... but then i heard about the new suzuki 450! Supose to be the SHiznit! Race ready, fuel injected, and 3" wider. So now I'm stuck! ... do I wait, or just get the Yfz?!!!!!:ermm:

wait for the suzuki... people will try and tell you dont buy the product first year it comes out but good chances are if somethings wrong there will be a recall or something. wait for the suzuki i would:macho

Was flying along my trails on my YFZ and a bird flew up in front of me. It got caught on the left front fender where it comes to a point, I had to stop and it finally fell off after flapping so much to get unstuck. I went to see if it was okay and it jumped up and flew off, appeared to have a broken wing though. Scared the sh*t out of me though!

I've also come very close to hitting deer through my woods...damn things, they love those headlights!

i've hit a deer on my 300! now thats a rough ride runnin one of those over. i was just lucky i was leaning back coming out of a banked corner in my woods. the deer was kinda knocked silly but got up right away and took off. and my buddy hit one on his
RM 200 (i think it was a 200 it was a 4-stroke) he was wfo in 5th on a gravel road coming from our buddys house at about sun down. it cause the bike to get totaled and him to get like 12 staples in the side of his head. his head looked nasty after it happened cause there was gravel embeded under his scalp! those are the only bad accidents with animals that i can think of

I have a really funny story.. well to me at least.


alright. the sun was just going doun. I was crusing through the woods on my quadsport 250. when I saw a deer. so I stoped, to look at it. note: the quad was still in gear I just shut it off. so I am looking at the deer through the woods. Started getting boring so I decide to call it. see if it will come to me. so I call it like it is a cat. the damn thing starts wakling twards me. being the outdoors man that I am, NOT. I start to wonder, do dears bite? so here I am in the woods with this deer coming at me at this point if I jumped at it I could probly have touched it. And I am thinking this thing is going to attack me. so franticly I try to start the quad. the damn thing wont start because it is in gear. so I franticly put it in nutral. the deer still staring at me by the way. I am visioning the clip on real tv where the guy gets attacked by the deer. I finally get the quad started and I think I ran away faster than the deer did.

so when I get home I asked my dad. " what do deers do to defend themselves?" and he said somthing like they just run away. I felt pretty stupid after that one. altho I was like 10 years old I still feel stupid.

hahahaaha ya thats pretty funny. Although my dads friends got his pants ripped of by one. Him and his friends went some ware and they were all dressed up. They were on there way home drunk ( they had a dd ) and this little dear was on the side of the road just standing there. They thouht it got hit by a car and was stunned. My dad being a hunter new they have sharp hooves (sp) so he did not want to pick it up to put it in the ditch so it woudnt get hit again. So my dads friend Reggie real drunk tries to pick it up with both is hands under its tummy. He got it off the ground and it just started kicking like crazy and ripped Reggies dress pants right off and knocked him on the ground and cut his legs all up:eek2: . Reggie got up on his feet and they looked over in the ditch and its mom was there and it called to her babie and it ran off with it mom. This was a year ago and he still has his pants stappled on his garage roof.:ermm:

one day i was on my way to a friends house its was about 830 and getting dark. i was topped out on the rode with a stock 400ex and a racoon jumped out infront of me i hit it dead on. blood everywhere on the bike and i almost flipped over. but thats it i have never hit anything else on my atv.
