Today, I took the LT250R out for a trail ride. First I've rode it since my little mishap last October. Didn't need a helicopter ride today! :p

I want to thank RIDER11X for his help in straightening out the frame, and going along today to make sure I didn't need 911!

All went well, first race this Friday! If I remember it! :p BTW.. I recommend HJC helmets! They withstand 70mph crashes! :)

get me on a dirtbike I'll try lmao, not on a quad, quads for me are xc only I dont want to end up getting surgery and such again coming up short on a jump and it landing on me lol.

Yea but every time you wreck with and hit your helmet you need to through it away...because they are only good for one hit...not alot of people know that....and everyone should cause its dangerous

Well its about F'ing time . :p ;) I shouldn't talk though .... I'm still not riding :ermm: . When are we gunna see pics of the LT all back together and I'm still waiting to see pics of it wrecked . Glad to see you back up and riding though .... ride safe and try to keep 911 and helicopters away for a while .

acually your wrong...you SHOULD buy a new helmet after every bad header!!

Absolutely! Mine had many scrapes and a few little cracks on one side... matched the ones on my head! But I bought a new helmet, they are good for saving the noggin only once. ;) Chest protector, which good thing I had it on, got pretty cracked up too... so many things got replaced. Moral of the story? Always wear protective gear! I was just out that day to play around a little, figured I'd hit a couple jumps so wore full gear. Never made it to any jumps though... Also... although I don't always listen to this... DON'T RIDE ALONE! Good thing Angieyes was there to call 911 for me, and hold my head up so I could breathe easier through the blood coming out of my mouth!

Hospital bill- 36k
Lifeflight bill- 8.5k
Wearing protective gear that saved my life- priceless

although some may disagree! :blah:

I want to thank everyone again for the well wishes I recieved in the thread my good bud RIDER11X put up after my accident. They really helped! ;) For a while, i wasn't sure I'd get back into riding... but then realized I obviously don't have much upstairs to hurt! :p A few broken bones and the head trauma... Short term memory still needs a lil work. For some reason I still remember about 2 weeks after I was home, Angieyes was over making dinner for me. I went to get silverware out... I started pulling all the wrong drawers out, because I coudn't remember where I kept them! I finally just hung my head, she took pity on me and showed me the right drawer. :p Like I said earlier, wear those helmets! Otherwise somebody would be just putting fresh flowers by my headstone...

And no making fun of me for repeating myself! :p

Hey man glad to hear from you. I am not on here as much as before but have certainly missed your digs and comments. Dang I missed that you were that racked up.
Helmets...Hell yeah. after my first knee surgery I went for a casual ride..huh right. Hooked an a arm on a stump, got catapulted 20 feet landed and slid on my head for 10 more feet. I haven't replaced the lid though guess I need a yellow on anyhow..
