ELKA rear shock

I have an Elka rear shock for my trx450r and it feels like the rebound adj is not there
Example, when screwed all out it should rebound faster than screwed all in
It doesnt seem to slow it down much

Has anyone had simular thing or is this the way they are

Yes it should slow down when screwed in. Maybe it is valved to soft on rebound or its got major issues.

450r's are known for doing that. Its just that rear swingarm/linkage/shock setup.
