FMF Megamax II

Since my pipe is not in i thought i might get another. How is the FMF Megamax II? Do you like it? Any experiences?i see it on rockymountian for 170$$ Is it worth it?

Just wait for your White Bros.. The MegaMax 2 sucks worse than the S-Bend. It has disc type spark arrestors, which restrict flow. It can be taken off, but then it is an ugly pipe, and its way to loud to ride at a govt. sanctioned place. Plus it doesn't give you the same power increases as an open-style pipe with a cone arrestor would. You won't even be able to feel it. My cousin had a White Bros with disc type arrestors, and he had to take it off when he bored it from 300 to 360 cause it restricted way too much. Just stick with the SBend. Or go with a Pro Circuit, which is about the best silencer-only package you can get. Make sure you get a UNI filter and jet to compensate.

yoshis are way better than w. bros they suck !

and my megamaxx doesnt suck, u people dont know what your talking about. I got great power outa my pipe. Yes its a little loud but i love it !

the megamax isn't a good pipe, I ve got one on my 400ex when I bought it, Its ****, the silencer broke, where the head pipe enter in the silencer.
I do not recommend it
buy another brand and model

why the **** would you argue over stupid ****, if someone like an exhaust then let them like it. who cares, my e-series has its goods and bads but im not gonna go around telling every one they suck. its been at white brothers for 3 weeks now with a broken off mid pipe and when i called the guy told me he was sorry about the turn around time and he is sending me a new one. so im happy with it. i also have a friend who has a carbon pro on his crf and all i have heard is good things.

I can't even remember what kind of quad this is about. I think it is about a 250ex. If so, get an HMF full system or a Sparks full system. They are the best pipes for a 250ex. Like I said FMF's SUCK.

The FMF MegaMax is pretty out of date. They rust, they dont last long and dont add much power. HMF, DrD, LRD and LTE are all very good pipes. I just depends on your budget. HMF is pretty darn good for the money.

ok , i have a yosh and they are really over priced , i have rode a 300ex witha fmf megamax and it absolutley was the worst pipe i have ever rode with . Just my .02

They are really crappy... My buddy had one on his Warrior and not only did it sound like he just took the baffle off, it didn't really help at all power wise. There wasn't anything you could feel. After I rode before and after of my old 400EX with a T-4 and a YFZ with a Dubach I discovered there should be noticable power gains. You should be able to feel it, where you really can't on the Megamax. If you want FMF try something else, I know they make good pipes cause the Fatty on my 250R is great.

yea dont get the megamax. i had one on my 300ex and it sucked. and its not that loud. I didnt really feel any diff in power only sound.

I had a Megamax II on my old beartracker and it was terrible. It was way too loud and didnt give any power at all.
