thankfully, no other damage to the arms or frame, just sheared off the ball joints and the brake line and tweaked the tie rod.

ill have to check on my brother, but the quad can be repaired:devil:

I do believe you will have a hard time convincing him that his burgard arms wont hold up! everyone couldnt believe he wasnt injured and that only a small amount of fixable damage was done to the quad.

did the frame survive too?

yep, frame is fine.

he was chasing after pgregg85, a very fast A rider and on a long uphill, 5th gear wfo hooked a bad rut (actually a pretty bad hole) in the center of the track) it got him out of shape and into the loose stuff along the track sending him into the woods. the rear tire clipped a tree sending him into another. the left front wheel squared the tree sending him off into the rocks..lol

wow how the hell did he not bend those a-arms, everything connect to them, kinda hard not to break them aswell as everyone else.

your right it was a defective ball joint after I hit the tree (what a stupid place for atree  ). I have got to give credit to burgards a-arms, if the joints didn't brake it would have been my frame:ermm: . And yes it was a HELL of a ride!

the mishap occured just after landing this jump. its a high speed uphill that really isnt hard to hit wfo. the problem occured as a large hole developed from bikes landing. after hitting the hole/major rut it sent him out of control etc.

he is lucky, work starts at 7 am and i dont allow atv injuries to keep him from being on time:devil:

I guess Burgards balljoint problem came in handy that time. Good to hear he's okay though.
