Getting A 05 450 Soon!!

im looking into getting a 05 450r soon and have made an extesive parts list of what the race mods i would like to do and was wondering what rev box to run and if there were any bike failures i would need to looh out for

i would wait the few months to get an 06' if i was you... unless you found an 05' for an awsome price

theres only 2 good rev boxes... dynatek and vortex
all the others are junk! the stock box isnt bad
i recommend the HRC kit

one thing ive found about the 450R and the YFZ are they have weak steering stems, they will bend easily even in a soft roll ever.
the rear shock and linkage like to buck the rear end up on some jumps. but other than that its a great quad.

from what ive read you would be better off with the crf ignition. but... it will come at a cost.

a dealer near were i live told me that he would sell me a new 05 for 5100 and extend my warrenty because i have bought my last quad off of them and when i did i sent like eight of my friends over a they bought quads off of him the guy is awsome. he will even warranty my quad if i race it . no questions thax for all of your guys input i was looking at the vortex but wasnt sure. thanx again
