I'm Having trouble sliding the rear end around to turn sharp corners during woods racing. When making hard 90 & 180 degree turns I can't slide the rear end around. I've raised the tire pressure, leaned foward to take the weight off the rear tires and when i drop the clutch the front end still comes up and i'm in the Scrub. I'm running stockers right now. What tires do you recommend? I've been looking at holeshots & razrs, 20X11X9. Thanks

if ya' really want to slide you'r
ayazend around get those tires
fast trekker rear's- mine are

18x11-10 little faqer's

they suck there alright but too small
i like the way they make my bike sit
down in the *** end looks kool but
thats about it if you want to go fast
you have a better chance of picking
up your quad and running though..
i have some taller ones too but i got
a flat the other night on em''

DIRT WHEELS -did a test on tire's
in their october 2001 issue but
i ca't tell reading word for word what
tire they say is best but i wil say that
trekker's slide real easy

there must be a defect on your 400 if you have trouble sliding the rear out with stock tires, its actually harder to slide out turf tamers then stcoks, but if you groove the tamers its alot easier to slide em out.

ahhh, the stocks suck at sliding, get the turf tammers they don't wear to fast they don't pop as easy as the stocker. first day i got my 400 i tried a donnut and ended up on my side

YOu need a tire that is flat not rounded like the stockers,,,maxxis, fast trekkers, holeshots, just about anything that's not got rounded edges will do the trick..

I think the Otshu's sidewalls are too soft for powerslides. A stiffer side wall makes for easier slides. I am currently running Holeshots and I noticed the differance right away. Stock tires are great for hillclimbing and drag racing, they hook up well in a straight line.

jeez you guys think the 400ex corners bad with those tires???? HELLO ride a blaster with the rounded top! One i hopped on that 400ex I was doing what I thought was impossible compared to my blaster. I just think you need skills.
