port and polish

how much does it cost to get heads port and polished and where do you get it done. o and how much horses do you think you get from it. thanks

it depends on where you get it doen. isent my away to c&d and it was $175 for the port and polish and $65 for the 3 angle vavle job. it wont do much for a stock engine.

the P and P alone with motor work will help alot!

now im going with A P and P Hotcam stage 1, and i cant deicde on what bore i want to go with. 416, 426 or 440, i want reliability and that is a major concern of mine.... how much are bigger head studs from c&d if i went with the 440 which i like the idea of the torque. but dont like the idea of blowing head gaskets!!

Go with the 416..... Had mine done by Colby also, went with the stage 2. A friend has a Z440, same cam, same pipe, (HMF). should not be a contest in a drag race right..Wrong!! I would say the port & polish is a must.
