Here are a few pics of my hybrid I built this year..I am very impressed with the power of this thing..Its pretty dirty in the pics and the frame needs to be PC'd, but I will wait to do that until I have ridden it a bit and checked it all over for cracks..I still have alot left to do till I am satisfied with it, but it works OK for now..

I really wanted to do a CRF hybrid so it would stay all Honda, but I got too good of a deal on the entire bike that I used for this conversion to pass it up..It runs awesome..It walks all over my friends Trinity built DVX440.. yea its fast..

Yea I did the entire thing myself..I would say the grand total for everything on what it took the do the conversion after selling all my 400ex parts that I didnt need only came to maybe a few hundred..I would recomend this swap to anyone with a little knowledge of how a few things work..I didnt find it all that hard and was well worth all the work..:D

Every YZ engine starts easy if you know what you're doing.

Thanks to everyone who has responded with + remarks..:D ..yes it very easy to start..it took me a little while to figure out the whole "hot start" thing, but now that I have it all figured out it always starts very easily..You cant help but figure out the compression release starting procedure..

very nice, just throw some mx tires on there, it would match the shaved fenders and look awesome. also, what all exactly goes into to mounting an engine like that in the 400 frame? is it extremely difficult? i would like to throw a dirtbike motor in mine:devil:

Well I do have some new front tires on the way so it will look better once I get them on..Like I said I still have alot of things to do to it before I am satisfied..As far as how easy it was to get it all mounted up, it was a little confusing at first, but once you start to understand how it all goes together and everything starts lining up right it is very easy..You just need to have some custom motor mounts and do some welding to get it all in there and bolted down..There is plenty of room inside the frame of this quad to make it all fit nicely..
