top end will drop quite a bit unless you put a 14 tooth sproket on the front which i would do if goin to 18's
you'll get lot more acceleration with 18's though, have to go threw the gears more though

I had my 300ex with an fmf megajunk and a K&N, and I clocked it at 63. I haven't cloked the 330 yet but I can't wait to see what this will hit. I am hoping for 75:macho . I think it will do it because I can outrun a piped 400ex, and I hear that most piped 400's hit 73-75.

Maybe w/15-50 sprockets, a long a** hill, and a bunch of ferry dust. Just maybe!!! And even then I think it would still take about all day!

Assuming you replaced or modded your CDI/Rev Limiter and depending on your tire size, you will have no issues hitting 75.
My 330ex 11,000rpm limit w/ 14f/36r & 22" tires tops out around 79mph on the GPS.
It's just a simple matter of gearing vs. rev limit when on flat hardpack.
If I went to a 32 tooth rear I could hit around 88mph. Granted.. it would be a long boring ride getting up there.. lol.

So 14/36 gearing w/ 18s what do you think that would hit?

I have 14/36 with 20 inch tires and a stock CDI. Do you think I could pull a 34? I think I could hit 75 now no problem, and I still have a lot of acceleration. I need to mod out my CDI. Which is better, modding it out or getting a Big gun CDI?
