Newbie question

[2005-400exYA]

I have a 2005 trx400ex...but for some reason i can ONLY find stuff for older model 400's...the ones with the 2 round headlights sticking out...my front end looks like a 450r...anyone know why or where i can find some 2005 parts? see...i told you it's a newbie question :)

what type of parts, alot parts will be the same.

well i heard they don't make plastics yet...so probably exhaust, nerf bars, bumpers, ummm power up kits...so on..

Most everything is the same except the front plastics and the tranny gears for the most part. Everything you listed will fit from 99-05. Do some searchs you will find a ton of usefull info.

yea man...carb, exhaust, airbox, frame, etc is all the same.

i had the same problem.... with exception of plastics all 04' stuff has fit mine.... goto www.rockymountainatv.com.. they have stuff that says made for the 05' so shop there if that makes u feel better
