well i rejeted my 250ex and i have a pipe and air filter. when i have it running and i stop, then give it the gas real hard it will bogg down and sometimes die. Is it because its too rich or too lean ? and what do i do to fix it ?

sounds like its too rich. what does your plug lookt like? try taking your air box lid off and see if it makes it any better.

???

Bogging on acceleration is 90% of the time a lean condition unless it's loading up.

If it was rich it would be sputtering/spitting.

Try turning on your choke 1/4 of the way (makes you run richer). If it helps.. then you need to richen it up. If it makes it worse lean it up.

Odds are you're needle is too lean (hits the bog at 1/4 - 1/2 throttle on the way up to full) or you're acellerator pump needle slipped of the compression arm.

Aye, if it's really rich, then it can bog. Just like forgetting to turn you're choke off.

I always use the choke method if I'm unsure of rich or lean. Sometimes it's very hard to tell.
