Hi, i just recently bought an 86 trx 250r..
im not too mechanically inclined, but..
its bored 40 over, has boyesen power reeds
wiseco piston
lrd pipe, lrd silencer,
an aftermarket carb, with a jet kit
powerline handle bars,
k&n air filter, renthal chainwheel?
douglas wheels, razor holeshot tires
ac racing nerf bars and front bumper
and more.. i cant remember everything..
i bought it from a friend's cousin..

Anyways.. i gave $2500 for it.. it runs GREAT.. especially in the woods..

the only draw-back is.. it has "frankenstein plastic"

you know.. zip tied, epoxied, half broke, sun dried out front and rear fenders,

so im looking for new plastic..

i didnt know if anyone knew if plastic from a 450R, or other 4 wheeler would bolt onto it or not..

Thanks :D

I would go with original plastics for it, it sounds like a very nice setup and you should stick with original plastics (race cut preferably)

There are two companies that make aftermarket plastics for the 250R. Maier and Fullbore. A websearch will easily provide web addresses, but prices can usually be found cheaper someplace OTHER than directly from the manufacturer.

I ordered my OEM front and rear plastics from MonkeyButt.

Great people to deal with.
