My Huevos 1-3 DVDs are messed up. They will play for a little then start to skip and pause and jump around to different sections. What can I use to clean em and stuff so they stop doing this?

Thanks

Is it scratched or just fingerprint smudges?

in most block busters and other movie rental stores and stores that sell cds/dvds they sell a thing called a cd doctor and it cleans your cd. what it does is actually shave of a tiny bit of the plastic on the bottom of your cd/dvd so that the surface is all even.

Yes that works good but puts a pattern on your cd's,

What i use is 3m plastic polish to remove all the scratches, when its done it looks like it just came out of the package.

yes smear some all over it, take a hairdryer and get dry it on their,
take very soft cloth and buff it right out... depending on the depth of the scratches you might have to do it more than once, but regular handing scratches will come right out.

You cant beat that stuff, great for Dash plastic too on old cars, comes out brand new.

i use Turtle Wax

Turtle wax can screw you if your not carefull because sometimes it becomes grainy.

Plus that really will not take out the scratches very well, just polish the already smooth areas

Look on the clear section in the center of the cd where it has the CD identification marks, are there any hairline cracks in there? if so your screwed.

Also if any of the foil is off on the back side of the cd (where they print on) is scratched off your also screwed :)

Daz why you have to buy a DVD Burner or Rip the DVD's to your harddrive as backup.
