Add James Olson (raptor720 (http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=158385) ) to the list of thieves on this forum. I guess I am a magnet for thieves on this forum.

$220 sent but not parts recieved. I won my claim with paypal but they were not able to recover my money.

you should really check deeply into who you buy from. Either make a post or check the feedback forum. I would also only buy from known members.

All can say is: I never had a problem buying parts off the net until I encountered the bad apples on here.

I guess I'll stick with the verified sellers on Ebay. yz440 ,the other thief, had a verified paypal account.

I only buy in person or from well known shops, I hate buying stuff over the internet your almost like playing russian roulette it will allways bite you :ermm:

i dont know of any other member that has bought and sold as much stuff on this site as myself, and ive never had any issues. ebay on the other hand is full of people looking to scam you.

stick to well known members and ask about a member if your unclear on thier history.

I can never get in ouch with the part time Palo Alto PD since JST is 14 hours ahead of EST. The State Police wants me to talk to Palo Alto PD first so I will be trying to contact them again tonight if I do not get too blitzed outta my mind slamming 50yen ($.50) draft beers :D TGIF!!!

Have been working as a team and the ADMIN have verified that both users logged-in from the same IP address. Dukeboy got burned jk250r!

I have bought parts from other users with low post counts and the parts were shipped without haste and with no hassles. The bad part this time is the parts from raptor720 are actually for the 250R project my friend is building from my old frame.

There are a couple guys on Ebay who will find parts for me and then post them with a Buy now price just for me. Now that is an awesome seller.

It is one thing i do not do, buy stuff from people on forums or from classified sites.

Paypal cant do anything for you in this instance, ebay is still the best way of obtaining cheap parts and you have way more protection.

how can they have the same IP addy and different street addys? i dont believe i understand that one....

haha, they live in pottsville, you shoulda known right away not to buy from them! j/k man, that really sucks that you got the shaft like that. ive only tried to sale to an individual once over the net and it was the biggest mess ever, and i dont plan to do it again any time soon! ALWAYS CHECK SHIPPING PRICES!

Your IP address has nothing to do with your street address, i can move my computer with a fixed ip to anywhere in the world as long as i use the same service provider it will work.

Also same IP Address does not mean anything.

Check my IP an then check Bushmanrebels IP address they will be exactly the same, but we live on totally different parts of the island.

Not every ISP gives REAL ip addresses but give out virtual IP's which all goto one router and the forum will pick up the Router IP Address not the computer's IP adress, since it is the Router/Nat box thats requesting the pages and passing it on to the user.

brah.. take a chill pill! I'm not an internet newbie. I am an ADMIN/MOD on paintball and car forums so I made a specific request when I inquired about the IP's. If two people are logging in from the SAME dynamic IP it is obvious they are working together or one person has multiple accounts. Now if they are both using AOL then they will of course have the same router IP.

Check the map. These two thieves live in the same subdivision.

i think he was talking to me, i asked a question about it and he answered it for me.

please...PLEASE... dont say brah, i dont know if its just me but it makes you sound like a poser ******. or maybe its just everyone around here that says it is. idk...do what you want, whatever...

i just started buying and ordering stuff on the net, all this talk about shifty, scammin, theivin hustlers makes me a little more nervous about who i'm dealin with....."brah" :D

All the parts for my 250r project I bought off the internet, and 90 percent of the parts that I have gotten for it have been off this site and I haven't had any bad deal with anyone, and knock on wood I'll have good luck with everyone else I deal with. But you gotta watch out who your buying from.
