Whats up guys, i just bought a white bros e series off of a member on here and i got a coulple of questions about it..

Its the only mod that i have motor wise and i was wondering if i need to re jet it to get the max power out of it and if i do what jet would you use and how hard is it to jet it...I live in PA near Pittsburgh/greensburg...if i do have to rejet is it better to take my air box lid off while im at it???

Second, is there any way to quite this thing down, it is way to loud for my liking and i wasnt sure if i could buy something to make it a little more quite...

Thanks in advance

Jimmy

to quiet it down you add more disks.

but if you add or subtract disks the power is affected-more low end, more top end etc...

i thought less disk = quiter, more = louder

well when i had a e-series i had all the discs in and the spark arrestor and it was quieter than without any.

you can buy a spark arrestor that would quiet it down a lot.

*more disks=more top end and louder deeper sound more space for air/exaust to come out disks.

*less disks=more bottom end quieter sound. Less room for air to escape out of the slits in the disks.

So thats why you can get more disc off rockymountain...top end is speed right. I was thinking about gettin more discs. Do you have to rejet after more discs?..Also it comes with 12 discs right. Sorry for stealing this thread.

More disks = Louder + Top end power
Less Disks = Little Quieter + Bottom End Torque

YES - you will have to rejet.

Get a filter K&N/Uni/TwinAir , remove the lid (unless you ride through a lot of deep water), and rejet. Uncorking 1 end of the system helps.. but not nearly as much as both ends.

you can buy up to 28 disks out of rockymountain if you do post your results cause i havent heard of anybody puttin that many disks on and yea you have to rejet.

me and HondaEXrider22 are right lol

so what makes a yoshi, HMF, or LRD, FMF, DG, Sparks whatever else have back pressure? Since without the plates theres no back pressure right?

lol

its how there designed, the other pipes are designed to work w/out discs, the megamaxx, supertrapp,dg xcellerator and WB are designed to work with the discs on
not alot of you know how complex and exhaust system is:rolleyes:

k.. lol

whats different about it, compared to an HMF

look at a TC exhaust, what is there for backpressure on that?

what about shortened exhausts??

thanks i will run it with them on. my screws are stripped so i was just going to take it all off and run it like that but i will run some screws in it and just leave it. i cant remember how many disks it came with but if i used half of them would that give me all around performance low/high? i dont want more of one then the other. thanks
