300EX start button wiring

Has any one ever wired their 300EX for just the start button, i need to know how to do it so that i can get back to racing and finish the season.

I the only wiring i've done is putting my trail tech lights on my modded 300ex. i need to know how too bypass my on and off switch for my lights the on and off button broke.

I did this to mine, but its been awhile. The two larger wires (forget the colors) coming into your handlebar controls. these are the two you want to wire into the new started button. You bought a kill switch for a dirt bike right. Thats what I did, i think the cr, but the kx or yz will work. Just different styling. You shoul dbe good to go for the starter. The lights are a bit more complex. I woul dhave to check at home, i wire in aftermarket light all at the same time and made all new connections !!
