Help! Question about my Denton stablizer!

I've had my denton rebuildable on for a couple months now. My question is Is it suppost to be a little loose? It looks like it has a little ball joint on the end where you can adjust the settings. Are you suppost to totally crank this tight or let it ride up and down on the little ball. I thought that I had it as tight as it would get without breaking but it dose have a little play in it. Just wanting to see if this is normal or not. Only way that I can really explain it is if you grab the end where the settings are and you can move it up and down some. Hope that helps sorry for not being real clear but its the only way that I can explain it. It's not loose where its connected to the stem of corse. It works great and would recommend people to get one, but I dont know about this? :( :confused:

My Denton had the same play in it. Just make sure it's not binding up anywhere and that you check the bolts regularly and it should be fine.
