Hello I was just wondering what it would cost to have my 400ex frame, sub frame, and lower a-arms powder coated trans blue? I went to this local powder coater, and he said its a two step process, and he would have to powder it chrome, and then use the viola blue on it. He was looking to charge me $500.00+ just for the frame, and I would have to sandblast it myself. Is this guy off his rocker or what?

No, he just has overhead that he needs to cover i reckon. Infact, that is not an uncommon qoute from the east coast.

Lower arms would be $40
