i blew the rear in my truck last week, and yesterday i was calling junkyards to find a new rear end for it. i called the one place, they wanted $350 for a complete rear end. i called another place, again- $350 for the entire thing, and this place will deliver free to an auto shop. so i called them back this morning, asked the guy to bring it out, and he is now telling me that the price is $400. i got PISSED OFF. then the guy has the balls to try to tell me that the one for $350 was sold yesterday after i called:huh . so i told the guy that he was full of crap. how often does a junkyard sell two identical rear ends (same gear ratio and everything) in 2 days??!!? the reason he came up for the $50 jump in price was because the one he had had low miles on it. i told him a few choice phrases and hung up. pissed me right off.
i don't know why people have to be so dishonest about things like that. instead of making the $350, he isn't getting my business. i just don't understand it:confused:
