fmf megamax 2

is the megamax2 a good pipe?? what do they usually run price wise??i found 1 from nacs racing for $136.00

no a sparks or hmf would be much better

i had a megajunk..... oops megamax on my 400ex and a k&n. the seat of the pants feel was the same as my buddy who had a yoshi. dont know what one, but he paid like 600 or something like that for it. also it felt the same as a white bro e series.
but........... the pipe was poorly made i had to get it welded 3 times also the packing was starting to blow out after about 1 mounth of riding.

Your better off buying something used if you want to save money. There are a lot of pipes floating around out there. And the megamax is one to stay away from.

I know a guy that had one on his 300ex, you would be better off getting an hmf, or a sparks.

i say go for the Dr.D slip-on. you can get them from temecula for cheap, great power, good sound, and not too many people have them

if i was you id go for the HMF, sparks, or Dr.D. I had the FMF megamax 2 on my 300ex and it sucked ***.

if you do get one make sure that you dont have to worry about noise complaints. my friend has one on a 300ex and that thing is LOUD

if you want fmf the powercore4 and ti4 are both good systems

They are junk. I know someone witha 300ex his fell off when he hit a jump its welded n held on by wire n a guy with a 400ex his melted his plastic plus they are annoying
