How much HP would my 300ex have? I have K&N filter jetted, and full DG exhaust.

Also what would the stock hp be for a 300ex?

16-17hp stock, your probably around 18-19hp now. Get a good pipe, cam and a little more compression and you could hit the 22-24hp range.

300's are 18hp stock (on average, every machine is different).

300's are so restrictive.. if you got a "full pipe", filter, and rejet correctly you are actually going to be closer to the 21-22hp range. About a 15% increase.

300ex's are all torque though, and the ultimate bullet proof atv (opinion of course).


Of course these are all guesstimates, based on articles and such. I never Dyno'd my stocker.

Concensus id that the stock is on the 16-19hp range. and pipe/jet/filter will get you in the 19-22hp range.

High compression piston / cam / porting all do great things for the 300ex.

That rating on the title must be at the crank. All I have read shows the stock 300 putting out around 16-18 HP's at the wheels. I bet yours is close to 22-23 at the wheels though...maybe a little more. :devil:
