ive been reading about this 400ex cool kit from 4 stroke tech, i have a 05 416ex (look at sig) that runs extremely hot, i was wondering if anyone had this kit and if they think its worth the buy. they say it cools the oil 40 degrees. but does that really do anything to your oil at high temps? im kind of afraid to be drilling holes into my motor too. if anyone has any pics please show em up. thanks

There is a thread on here about it, I have heard the oil cooler is not worth it, if you are really interested in it, it is a long thread, so do a search.

are you guys nuts ... think about what your saying????

an oil cooler is worth every penny....

the cooler you keep the oil, especially in the air cooled 400ex, the longer your motor will live.

mikeys kit is the best out there.

keep in mind, i have no affiliation with them, and personally, i dont care for his attitude, but i do have to give him credit on his cooler system

i have used them in the past. i had a 416ex... sitting at idle in the garge was 16 degrees cooler with the oil cooler, than without. keep in mind this is just at idle, with no air flowing through the cooler
