BMC air filter for HONDA 450R. Is it any good. The guy her at my LHS, (local honda shop) said they are very good made of same material as k&n but more air can enter due to its design.

What you guys think?

They look the same as K&N, but it looks like it would take more air in because the top is not closed off like the K&N. I wouldnt mind trying one out.

They are around the same as the K&N. A ten dollar + or - not sure. Yeah dunno weather cost more or less. The guy said they are very good and thats what he runs on his 450r, 400ex. Still run an outerwears, prefilter though!

They look pretty cool too, but ya cant see them.

Yeah I will. He orderd it for me. Odd thing is, is that I cant find these filters for ATVs on their web site. Due to they are so new. So yeah this also will be the first MOD that i put on my bike. I'll post a review after a try it out. Hope to give it a whirl this week end!

do you just use the k&n stuff to clean it and oil it or do they have their own?

Looks like a quality filter to me.

As long as the seal on the carb side.. and the fiament glue holds up it should be a great filter.
