It wouldnt take 10000 dollars to make a quad hit 100mph. You just have to change the gearing and make sure you have the engine to pull that gearing. It would probably just take you a couple minutes to get there.

Use a little smarts, and it shouldnt take u much more than 500 bucks or so to hit 100, i wouldnt think!, Tell u what, Ill help you out for free.

sorry mark. brian250 what imgdao mean. I have a larger sprocket for the front but havent put it on should I? I really do not want to loose any of my low end but how much would I loose if I swapped the sprocket? I have a 400ex that I got from afriend that is a car dealer and the guy that he bought it from said that it has a 440 kit in it, but my 13 year old broinlaw has a yfz450 and he smokes me everytime we go riding(until it breaks down) I was wondering if it would be worth putting in a new cam or just wasting money.O yea its a 99 model and still has the factory tires on it and they look like new. sorry

why would you want to hit 100 or more on a quad...first of all you wouldnt be able to control it...i dont kno if you have ever noticed or not or went fast down the road on your quad but those tires get really squirly when at higher speeds...they are not speed rated so there for its gonna be hard as hell to control, 2nd you wouldnt have no bottomend so it would take quite a while to get her up to speed....if you want to do 100, do 100 or more in your car with the saftey of seatbelts, and some kinda enclosure...

Just make it wider it would be more sturdy :devil:
