450r oil and filter?

I have yet to change my oil in my 450r since I bought it a few months back, but now I want to before I ride it much more. What oils do you suggest, i think that I wanna go with synthetics, and what filter do you suggest?

synthetic castrol 10w40 actevo is what i run and i change mine about every ten hours

i use the HP oil filters off ebay and ru nthe new mobile 1 15w-50 gold cap in my engine side.

castrol 10w-40 with k&n oil filters , i change my oil around every two rides and i change the filter about once a month.

Thats pretty bad man. I use Motul like 15w 50 or 40 or something like that, in the engine. I use Bellray Transfluid like 80w in the trans. Filter I change evrytime, Emgo or somthing like that, its like a $1.50 for one from the quadshop.

I have barely ridden it since I got it, I just havent had the time, maybe 4 hours total, but I will soon be going to some places and riding it a bunch and racing in the fall, so I wanna change it now before I really get a lot of ride time on it and i'll change it again before I start racing.

if you are just trail riding that is one thing but if you are going to be racing listen to what is posted. i trail ride only and i use the hp oil and the hp trans fluid on my 05 and i change it every other ride cause i put some hours in on my rides. i get everything at my local shop and never have a problem . no shavings nothing. my bike is going to be tore down at the end of the year and that will tell me wether or not what i have been doing is right or wrong. but i dont have any power problems and no smoking or grinding.
