This isnt a joke. I talked to someone today that has thought of opening up a few hundred acres to ride on( for a fee of course) in north east louisiana its halfway between monroe La. and Greenville Ms. The land is mostly flat but we were talking about digging some very large holes to jump in and out of and some big table tops, also a few smaller jumps and a mud hole. If you have read this please post a reply to let me know what you think.

insurance how much. He has some of the land as a duck hunting club he may already have quite a bit of insurance. He is worried about someone getting hurt. If he made everyone sign a acciedent release could he still get sued?and why di you have to have insurance?

well, as far as I know (and I'm going by memory here), if someone owns land and wants to charge people to ride there, he/she's leaves thereself open to lawsuits if something happens.

If he/she is charging people, they are considered a business (right?)

Our club has gone over this soooo many times. We can't hold any events for profit w/o insurance and we can't afford the insurance. I can't point you in the right direction, just a heads up.

When Ilived in Monroe, we rode up around Farmerville and Hale. Had some fun up there, going to the River.

All the places i go have you sign waviers. They still need insurance, I think its a law or somthing. In my state its required to have a 100million dollar polilcy. The track i go to all the time pays 3500 a month just for ins.
