awesome choice. Make sure you get a new exhaust copper crush gasket and re-tighten header nuts after you heat the exhaust up good and hot to prevent exhaust leaks.

hope this helps.

i just got one too. i know this sounds bad but my ceramic coated sparks pipe puts out more low end power. it is easier to wheelie with the sparks. i haven't got the rossier in the upper gears yet so i can't say how it will do there. i have a feeling it will do better at high rpms. i think i will get my rossier coated too.

make sure to use a bit of anti-sieze on the muffler/mid pipe. the aluminum likes to corode and can be a bizatch to get apart.

i am not saying the sparks is the one to get. this sparks one was ceramic coated and the rossier isn't. well mine will be here shortly but i haven't got it done yet. maybe that makes a little difference too. my sparks definatly gives more power at low rpms. if i am just slowly cruising around in 1st for example, i would have to hit it less with the sparks pipe than the rossier to pop the front end up. the pipe shootouts all show the rossier in front when you have a built motor so i am going to stock with my setup. i am running a keihin 180 mainjet. this is the same jet i was running with my sparks pipe. i did use anti sieze at the connections.

Try it with the spark arrestor in. Did you change the cam and what is your jetting?

i don't even have a spark arrestor for it. i run the hrc kit with the hrc lid and the dustflap that screws to the hrc lid. i have the hrc needle in the 3rd clip position. i run a stock pilot with the fuel screw turned out an extra 1/2 turn or so to richen up the mixture at idle. i run a 180 keihin mainjet. i have a sparks air filter. i am around 625 feet above sea level and the temperature is around 90 degrees. i do still run the stock piston so maybe that needs changed first. :D

I LOVE MY ROSSIER PIPE. www.wppracing.com says that the rossier has almost 2hp more than sparks!! mine really rips. it has pleanty or bottom to top. pluse its not as loud! umm mine went on really easy just use some high temp silicone between the header and scilincer. Put your pipe on and enjoy

what will it do to the top end. i know i lost bottom end power with this pipe but i really don't care if it makes up for it at high rpms. i am mainly concerned with 2nd through 5th gear power at high rpms due to my riding style.

i do have a 50 pilot coming. i don't think you will notice it running better with the 50 in. i curently run a 48 pilot and i turned the fuel screw out a little bit to richen the mixture at low throttle positions. this is essentially the same as adding a 50 pilot, but i ordered one anyways.
