YFZ or 450R...........

Im looking to get a new quad...and it will be tough to decide between the Yamaha YFZ 450 or the Honda 450R.
Maybe some of you owners of either or could give me some input on these quads...... thanks alot

i'am a honda owner, my brother in law is a yamaha guy, i have rode both quads a lot. the yfz hits realy hard even in stock form. the honda is smoother. the honda suspension is softer. the yamaha like you to pound it hard. if you are in the woods is'a honda. if you are in sand or wide open spaces you will enjoy the yfz450. both quads are nice. you need to test ride both and see what you like. dont listen to anybody that says right away that eather one stinks.

haha, i just went thru this personally and went for the 450r.. the only reason was because the honda came w/ kick start and that is what i wanted, i had rode both and both had lots of power but i liked the honda better, but don't take this and say that the yamaha is junk, because it is an awesome quad as well, i just prefered the honda.

they are pretty much even quads. there isnt to many differences between them. yfz has a lower center of gravity while the 450r sits kinda high. R has kick and YFZ has e-start. personally id probablly get the yfz because i like it better over all.

I'd get a............250ex best all around quad ever built I ride mine more than my R just love it power, speed, suspension is Great, did I mention the instant power, handling is perfect, best off the show room floor racer ever built.

well i have rode both and i got a 450r and i do like mine a lot more than the yfz but i think they both great machines. but there last sunday my one friend hoped on mine and i know he rode a lot of my yfz's and he thought mine was awsome i really don't know why ,but hes awsome. and if you get either your gonna be happy trust me. your just gonna have people telling you that you should of got the 450r!!!!!! lol

I got the 450r because i thought it had a smoother power delivery than the yfz and the yfz seems small to me. I also thought the 450r had a softer seat. But both quads are awesome and which ever one you get you will be very happy.
