hey what is the best type of bars out there for the 450. i was thinkin tag but not 2 sure. and if i get bars do I have to remount the ket and the heat light.

If you buy oversized handlebars you will need the oversized clamps. You can buy 7/8 inch Renthal or Tag handlebars.

I have tags and really lie them, it is my second set. Laid a stem down with one set and didn't bend teh bars. If I got anything but them, I would look for AFAM, but I am not sure if they even make them anymore.

I love my renthals but it is all just opinion.... run what ever you like some are stronger than others it just depends on how strong you want it to be.. cause too strong they wont give and your stem will...jmo

im running pro taper atv mid bends on my 450r, i love them right now,i had to remount my ignition and heat light also, so i drilled out 2 holes in my hood and mounted them, they look awsome and there different from anyone elses r:devil:

I also have Pro Taper mid and like them. I did away with the keys switch completely by wiring in a kill switch. The light is just tied down behind the gas tank.

I have this set up, total: $74.98

cost alot less than just a pair of the tag bars.

These are great quality and i love them

I have Tag T2 bars on my 450r, and I am pretty happy with them, but they came with the bike so if I ever buy another set it will be the Pro tapers, I have them on my other quad. I have heard more stories of Tags breaking than I have heard of Pro Tapers breaking. I mounted my key on the side and I made an aluminum bracket for the temp light.
