hey guys i need help on removing the front sproket on my 450r i want to go with a 13t. could someone give me step by step instructions on this task.

loosen the chain a little.
1.take the shifter off( easier to get the case saver/chain guard off)
2. Loosen the two bolts 8mm holding the case saver/ chain guard.
3. Loosen the bolt 12mm in the middle of the sprocket.
4. Slide the sprocet off and take it out of the chain.
5. Put the new sprocket on
repeat the steps backwards

o and you will probably have to tighten your chain after you get the new sprocket on.

Don't forget to use a torque wrench when putting it back on. Those bolts will snap off easily.

I didnt even take the shifter off, if youve got swivel sockets you can get around it. Very simple project

Then take the shifter off..makes it much easier
