yep, mine did the same back when i had a z400. once it gets scratched up the rust moves in.

If it hasn't been too long they should have a material defect warranty of some sort for a month or so.

I've had a Durablue on my quad for 5+ years. It has not 1 spot of rust on it. LSR is much better. I should not rust. I would call them.

well IMO nothing rust if you take care of it.

Just break it and send it back! Supposed to be a no questions asked, lifetime warranty on that thing.

all i had before was Durablue. they never rusted. now i'm stuck with this lonestar. how do you just brake one? it would have to look like it broke on the quad.

It was a joke man..... Just call Lonestar and tell them your problem. If they stand behind their product I'm sure they will take care of it. Either a new one or get it re plated... not sure. But if it's only a couple weeks old liked you say and have a recipt.... I dont see a problem. If not get back on here and let everyone know how it went down and see what happens.

i did not mean to make it sound as if i had just got it. i have had this axle about six mouths. i'm going to call them to day. and let you know

You should have called em 5 mos and 3 weeks ago. Ihave a Lonestar and its still cherry after a year other than a few scraches. Not sure if they will warranty the finish after that long? I know that if it breaks or bends they will replace it 4 life.
