i really wish i could do stoppies on command. when i had my z400 the balljoint popped out and the a-arm dug into the ground. that lead to a pretty good stoppie, but it scared the crap outa me:devil:

Not always, There is a kid in town, (Benji) U might know him matt, he rode a 400ex, and was only about 110-120 lbs and could do a stoppie almost anywhere, He can also sit on the bars and yank a wheelie, and just keep on riding it.

Its just about how you transfer your weight and how u use the clutch and gas/brake.

It just takes skill haha. My friend can ride em kinda far on his 450r. It's pretty sweet. I used to be able to do mad endos on my Warrior because the front brakes were sweet and it had a twist throttle. Because If I lean forward on my 400ex, my leg usually hits the thumb throttle and revs it to the moon. So I can't really do them at all on my 400.

what i do is bounce the rear suspension as i hit the front brakes. I also do it the same why on my SportBike.

I am only 130 and I can do stoppies easily. I can't do them on concrete, unless it is heavily grooved. Doesn't seem to hook up. On a tar road, or asphault, they are easy. Try this... get it in 2nd gear, give it some gas, to get around 3000 rpm, pull in the clutch, and hit the front brakes. This way, the weight it tranferred to the front faster. Doing it this way, i don't have to lean forward. Be Careful though, because I found out how strong my brakes were when I rode behind my cousin, and he almost dumped hit bike!:eek2:
