with my white bros slip-on i didnt need to rejet. it actually ran alittle rich on the stock jetting.

You shouldn't have to rejet unless you open or mod your airbox lid.

it depends, there is no solid rule for that! just slap it on and see how it runs and go from there!

The white bros e-series slip on is what i have on my ex and with the pipe white bros sent me a bunch of forms and a dyno chart ect. you can change the number of disks to get what sound or performance you are looking for. I think it says 3 or 4 disks is the same as running the stock pipe so there would be no need to rejett. Also you would recieve the added sound you are looking for. :D its loud

It REALLY depends on the kind of ATV and pipe.

it also depends on the elevation and the climate.

If your buddy doesn't want to jet just because he is lazy that is just a shame. Slapping on a pipe will cause the jetting to become lean and damage the engine (quickly or over time).

Not jetting will also rob you of a LOT of potential power.

as well as the time of year (which goes with climate) that is pretty bad that he doesnt want rejet it, it takes probably a total of 20 minutes...
