This was round two of the Canadian mx nationals, and boy it was a hot one. It was probably pushing near 40 degrees C, and with the humidity and the strength of the sun made it for a long day. For the people who don't know gopher dunes to well, it is identical to southwick, it is a all sand track.
I am only going to post a few pics from the 2nd moto, since i video tape the 1st moto and also had to prepare for my 1st moto that followed the pros.
Moto 1 overview:
1st- Richard Pelchat
2nd- James Banks
3rd- Greg Gee

A view of the track at the end of the day...

Showing why he has the number one plate, becuase he just put on a charge and opened the gap...

O I forgot to mention Pelchat is backed by Yamaha Canada.
Jasmin Plante is backed by Honda Canada, he will not be racing this year so he can get his leg to fully heel. I hope he gets better real soon, becuase he is the only person so far that can run as fast if not faster then Pelchat.

Great coverage of an awesome day of racing. I watched most of the day and then flagged at the end. I flagged your last pro am race at the first table after the last corner.
