If I put a 42 Pilot in my 400ex but do not remove my choke, will it do the same thing as removing it? Or is there some special thing that works with removing the choke.

you dont have to remove the choke, but it will start alot easier by putting in the 42 pilot

start it like a harley. hit the throttle two times. and hit the button. pump the throttle a little bit and she will fire up everytime the accel pump will shoot raw fuel down the throat of the carb making it rich on start up. I removed my chock and JB welded in the holes and the smoothed it out with sand paper till it looked like there was never a chock plate in there. stock slow speed jet turned the air screw out 3.5 turns...
