Pipe Is Melting

i bought the DG pipe and header
and right next to the seat where the pipe goes around under the plastic- it's melted a hole- this has been going on for a while and was wondering if it's doin' it to your's''

if someone ride on back it melts even more-
last weekend i rode a girl on back and it's melted so much the fender went on and cracked all the way down
buy new plastic sure- but how can i stop it frm starting all over again- :confused:

1st, you shouldnt ride n e one on ur quad. unless the girl is mad HOT...(haa) they sell a heat resistant alum. foil that u can stick on the plastic. its in dennis kirk or chapperal or rockymoutain. look in them and ur find it.
