450r jetting

I need help. my 450r as a yoshi full system and air box lid removed with uni filter. I have a jet of 180 and it runnning like sh*t it keeps sputtering and poping. What can i do?

Try adjusting your idle mixture screw.

where is that located at?

Its located on the bottom of the carb facing down , its a gold screw which takes a flat head , it can be adjusted with out removing the carb. The more you turn it in/out it will go up or come down. If you still cant find it i can go outside and take a pic. Just let me know.;)

Im running the exact same setup and I have a 175 main with the screw about 2 and half turns out.

I also have full yoshi and uni with a 175 main jet and 2.5 turns out. I still have a top end sputter. I have tried every jet from 160 to 195 with not much change. I guess I must be hitting the rev limiter but it just does not seem like it. I ordered a rev box and will let you know how it works as soon as it arrives. Good luck.

what pilot jet you running? what needle are you running? what is the clip position your at? are you using keihin or dynojets?

i am using keihin jets. The carb is stock. All the clips and everything has not change all i did was change the main jet
