I have a real good friend that has a new 450 with an a new type of DMC Alien pipe on it. He called DMC and the only carburator modifications that they told him to make was to move the needle clip down one spot. The bike runs extremely strong with the pipe. We were riding last night at little sahara and look down and saw the header glowing red. Is the bike running lean? Iv herd this on YFZ's but am not sure if this is normal or shud this be taken care of???

yeah its probably a little lean but if this was when the bike was idleing on its stand then its perfectly normal

If it hadnt been at night then we would have never seen it.

move the pilot to like a 45 or maybe a 48 if he's did the cam mod. and play with a few mains, like 165 through 175. and while your at it, get a 35 leak jet. it'll help with the famous friggin FCR bog.
