Your method of turning on the mx track

What is your method of turning on a mx track like when do you brake how much do you lean etc.

braek as late as i can depending on brakign depends where you are on the track what position how bad you are being pressured and you should start leaning imo right when you start turing the handle bars for the turn and depending on how tight you turn the corner determines how much you should lean and the when you get the quad straight outta the corner stop leanming to the side and lean back and gas it full throttle trying to keep the tires from spinng

and dotn lock your brakes and that is what i do at least i try to

i ride in poole kentucky and plan on trying to go to little sturgis and the ballance track later this year when i get my lescense in august and i practice at poole kentucky all the time on their mx track and i ride a 300ex i go through madisonvlle to egt to the track maybe we should hook up sometime

Yea i race at little sturgis mx and sx. I race in there first sx race saturday. Im plannin on goin to poole sometime to practice.

Do either one of yall go to 800mx in crofton? We race there and Ballance Mx.

I went to practice there a few weeks ago. It was really dusty is the only thing i didnt like and there were also alot of rocks so when you braked it wore your tires down pretty good.

Have yall even been to lowes MX? blake_mx_racer im in Paducah about 20-25 minutes from ya. You should come watch the TT and flat track national on september 10th. Farr, little, goodman, and a few other big name MX guys will be there!

I would love to man, but I cant go to big with my stock rear end tho. After this winter im revalving my front shocks and getting some +3 a-arms, and getting a 400ex rear end with a pep ZPS rear shock. Where is this track your talking about?

the track is in poole kentucky pretty much "podunkville" it is pretty good though but it is setup for dirtbikes but i can still make most of the jumps on my 300

you can lock up your brakes but only on tight flat turns like 180degree hardpack i slam on my back brakes point right out of the turn and floor it i woulndt lockem up if you have lots of traction

I center up to the corner, feather front brakes, lean and power it around, usually sliding half the time sideways sure does scare everyone around you :blah:
