Yes they will fit, but keep in mind they are I belive an inch skinnyer than 250r a arms.

What is an inch skinnier? Will it cause a difference in handling?

The 400ex a arms are skinnyer than the 250r a arms, same with the axel. As for the handling I have never ridden a 250r with 400ex a arms, but with it being skinnyer than stock the handling wouldn't be quite as good, but I would think that it could have it's benefits for woods riding and gncc racing, because you could swerve between the trees easier.

Sorry Fontmaster let me elaborate a bit more.

I am asking about aftermarket a-arms.. specifically a set of Gibson +3 +1 Long Travel with heim joints.

I have a friend who has a set practically new he is willing to sell me for 500.00. He says they will fit my 250r frame.

I guess I could make them work... but Im not sure what the difference really is... if any.... and if it would be worth it....

Maybe I should just hold out and try to find a pair specifically for the 250r....

Decisions... Decisions... Decisions....

Same goes for the aftermarket a arms, they won't add a true 3 inches of width to each side like a set of 250r +3 a arms would do, but that would still be a good setup IMO.
