I was bored yesterday and puttin some stickers on my quad, and I remembered the night before at the races almost every quad and dirtbike was running a filter right off the carb or had a filter attached to the air tube. Well my local honda store dosent keep much in stock so I worked with what I had and came up with this....

The clearish blue part is the upper part of a drinking cup. I cut it down to where it would fit over the air tube mounting spot and over the filter mounting spot. Then I zip tied it to the left side of the frame to get it away from the warm air of the exhaust, and to keep it from bouncing around and possiably falling off.

I read somewhere that you can put a atc 350x rubber tube to connect the filter to the carb and is bigger and lets it brethe better for performance

Yea, the heat from the HMF melted it partially so I mounted it on the oppisate side of the frame rail.
