Can anyone tell me what the difference is in 400ex and 250R A-Arms?
I found a set of Gibson LT A-Arms and the guy said they would fit both 400ex and 250R?

I thought there was a diffence in the mounting width between the two. Could someone tell me more before I commit to purchase them.

Thanks

The bushings are a tad different on each.

So if the a-arms were for a 400ex and I bought all new 250r buhsings.. they would mount up to my 250r with no problems?

I'm 99% sure they will.

No the size of the lower a-arms frame mount are different. The uppers will work with different bushings but not the lowers

I have put my 250r a arms in my 400ex and my 400ex in my 250r. If you have a 250r, you have to use the metal spacer parts from a 250r bushings

I believe that the big difference is the camber and caster angles between the 400ex a arms and 250R ( not much but some). Also the mounts are wider on the 400ex ( I could be mistaken ) than the 250R. They just require some trimming to the front and rear of the mount. If your going the other way than you need to shim the bushings front and rear with washers. Then get a new set of bushings. You should be able to find some around $30 - $40 Like I was saying though the angles will be a little different. If the deal is too good to pass up, than by all means purchase them but if it seems about the normal price just wait a bit and maybe spend a few $'s more and get the correct ones. No point in spending money on something you have to cut into to make work, and once there cut there cut.
