what kind of engine would fit in a blaster frame? I bought one like last week and dont know what to put in it, i have a yzf 426 engine but i dont think it would fit? i measured but i couldnt get very good measuements. if u could tell me what would fit in a blaster frame it would be apperitaed

cr 250 kx 250 the old yz 490 with a lot of work.

Get a CR 250 motor. Fits nice and runs like tits:)

so cr 250 is counter ballanced too? i thought it was just the yzf 426? but anyway thatnks for the input and ill look for one.

with a little cutting and welding u can get the 426 in it just make sure the sprockets line up

you could most likely get the 426 motor in there, but you probably wouldnt want to. The blaster frame was made to hold the weight of the lighter 2-stroke engine, if you put that big ol 426 4-stroker in there, it wouuld weigh it down a bunch. You could upgrade your shocks, but that still prob. wouldnt help a whole lot. BUt it still would be awesome.

it would be friggin awesome but i think ill go with the cr 250. i like 2 strokes better anyways. hahaha
