is their a why to cool a 400ex engine

I don't quite know what you're asking...but if it's "Is there a way to cool a 400ex engine better?" then yes, there is.

You can get an aftermarket larger capacity oil tank, made out of aluminum and some even have heat shields for protection and added cooling against the headers.

You can also rig up a second oil cooler (just buy another one and hook up the lines to that one also). A friend of mine did that for his 416EX and it seemed to work fine.

Buy/make air scoops to direct air towards the oil cooler and engine.

the best thing to do is run really heavy weight oil like 20w50 or if its cold then 20w40 then get air scoops then start foolin with oil tanks, also make sure your not jeted too lean causeing you to over heat

havier oil wont make it run any cooler, it will just give it more protection when it is running hot. i would suggest checking that you arnt running lean, and if your not and its still running alittle hot i would invest is some scoops
