i just got back from riding my 04 300ex. we were riding for like 2 hours, trails, mud holes, and just racing around. after getting our quads covered in mud, we decided to wash them of in a river. my friend has an 05 300ex and he was flying through the river. i started going through it and my quad started bogging out and sputtering. it ran fine all day but as soon as i hit the water(not fast either) it ran like crap. i changed the plug and it still ran bad. so i let it sit for a while then we left and it ran fine once i opened it up. anyone have a clue why my 300ex was doing this? i have a uni filter and a cobra jet exhaust on it( i know cobra is junk), i did not jet it yet cause it runs fine until i get near water. some one help me please. if i have to jet it what main jet should i go to??? thank you alot
